Dr Joachim Brandt
Specialist Advisor for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Emerging Technologies
Joachim has over 30 years of experience in telecom, energy, and transport. He currently serves as the Specialist Advisor for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Emerging Technologies at Technotrans International.
Joachim played a pivotal part in shaping the landscape of Smart Energy and Electric Vehicles while at Gemserv. He chaired the Energy UK EV working group from 2016 to 2018, actively guiding the industry towards embracing electric vehicles through participation in working groups, technical committees, and the Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce. At E.ON he spearheaded international innovation projects in Smart Energy and E-Mobility.
Joachim, as Specialist Advisor, provides strategic guidance to accelerate the transition to net zero in the transport sector. He leverages his expertise to contribute to the practical implementation of EV charging infrastructure and supports commercial and technical due diligence for investors.
